Default Caesar\'s AC - Mini Trip Report

I broke my Borgata-only policy to play here for the first time yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. The room was pretty full and, in my very small two hour sample, the play seemed substantially softer than at the Borg-- 5-8 players per flop with several players who would cold-call pre-flop raises with almost any hand. A beautiful thing, really.

I didn't have any interaction with the floor so I can't opine to their sufficiency/deficiency level, but I will be going back to investigate.

Oh, oops, should have specified. 1-2 NL ($300 max). Like most rooms in AC, Caesar's is mostly an NL room, and they additionally were spreading a few tables of low limit.

I also found it soft there, but I only played NL there twice. I pretty much find all 1/2NL pretty soft, though, and I'm mainly a limit player. Makes me wonder why I don't switch to NL. I think it's mainly because I'd be throwing away all the study time I've been putting into limit.

I'm loyal to the Borg as well. However, first time I played at Caesar's, 1/2 NL 300 max, second hand (so I have $298), raised preflop with 99. Couple callers. Flop A98 two diamonds. I bet, one raise, I push for $200 more or something. Guy has me covered and calls with ATo, no diamond.
