Default Software to capture streaming video

Hello,

I'm going to be purchasing software to capture streaming real media (.ram) video of public hearings. And I'm looking for recomendations.

Any help is appreciated.

I use NetTransport ( http://www.xi-soft.com/ ) and it saves Realvideo for me perfectly. It is also supported by the Firefox plugin Flashgot which makes it easy to select the items on the page you want to download.
