sad for Dixon
pretty sure it was his to lose
he comes out with that great run
then, he hits that WR for what should've been a TD, but that guy pops the ball in the air for an INT
then, the ACL tear...yikes

side note--I tore my ACL in the same way playing basketball
non-contact moving sideway and trying to cut forward and the knee just gave with loud popping sounds. I could walk on it, but it was tore up.

I still think there is a gap between Tebow and anyone else *at the moment*. With Dixon out of the picture TT has to be the front runner right now. On the other hand, "front runner right now" means basically nothing compared to "front runner at the end" as has been REPEATEDLY proven this year in both the Heisman race and the BCS standings. Tons of other players are still in it, including people who weren't even part of the discussion last week.

If Kansas wins out I think Reesing definitely gets an invite (probably doesn't win), obviously this is big for McFadden as well, Daniel, I'd like to think this could open the door for a non-skill player but that's unlikely.

Is it too late for Brady Leaf to get some votes?

Even though I haven't heard one media type say this, it seems to me like the Heisman race has to be between Tim Tebow and Chase Daniel now. If Daniel beats KU and OU and leads Missouri to the MNC game, he wins. Otherwise, I can't see Tebow losing.

At this point, I don't see the voters not rewarding Tebow for the 20 rushing/20 passing & his sick stats even if Daniel leads his team to the MNC. Tebow has to really suck vs FSU.

bump?

Daniel/Reesing catching up, right?

Whoever wins that game should get some love and maybe catch up to Tebow? Or no way...

If Tebow doesn't win this award, it will be even more of a joke than it already is.

Todd Reesing? I think Chase Daniel and Todd Reesing should get equal credit, with the winner of the KU-MU game getting more hype.
