Default 2/4 QJ against a tilting lag

I was playing heads up with the small blind then the table filled up quickly. I was getting the best of him heads up and a few others did when the table filled up. The hand before this he capped out of the big blind with A6 and check called the rest of the hand UI.

Is this disgustingly standard?

The flop raise isn't standard, but I guess the rest is.

I would call the flop, call the turn, and raise the river.

The flop looks fine, calling the flop and raising the turn can be good too.

The way you played it, the turn looks good if you can fold to a 3-bet.

I do not like the river raise. What's the point of raising the river? I don't think we will ever fold out another queen.

Ok lets get this straight.. Raising the flop or turn is putting more money into better hands, and quite often pushing out worse hands. I think it is optimal to allow him to keep firing with weaker hands, betting if checked to, and raise/calling if we improve. Looking at this hand again, I think the flop and turn are actually fairly bad.

As mossberg said, we are not raising the river to fold out another queen. A tilting LAG is likely calling many worse hands by the time we get here.

Flop raise is completely standard. You can raise that hand UTG.
