Against an unknown at .1/.2, I call down with an overpair.

But calling the turn check/raise, drawing to 2 outs if behind, only to fold UI on the river is not a plan for success.

You need a much better read to fold to a turn c/r with an over pair on a coordinated board. Much, much better. Call him down, make a note of what he did that with.

UI==unimproved.

I agreee with NIX, it is correct to call down w/o reads on vilain. If he has a set you have only two outs, but should he have hit two pair, you have not only two K outs but additional 6 outs when the board pairs not filling him up.
So the 9.5:1 on the turn is good value for your call. Also consider the rare cases when villain is on a bluff or bets something that you have beat.

your question is almost impossible to answer as you have not given any information about anything..

but, you can determine for yourself ... make a list of hands you think would do this then note those that you beat, those that beat you (and then look at your potodds to call down ... 1bb for the turn, another for the river against pot+what villain will put in)

in general ... folding an overpair is generally not a solid move (especially against an unknown)

No way do I fold here. This board is not even that coordinated as nothing has you drawing dead (ie no straights or flushes possible).

Worst case scenario, he has a set and you are drawing to 2 outs. If he has 2 pair, you are drawing to 8 outs to hit a better 2 pair. On top of that, you are frequently still gonna have the best hand here quite often.
