I played in this for two days this past weekend, and they are the friendliest and most entertaining players I've ever seen, so different from the usual lineup of attention seekers, boring internet pros, and angry old dudes.

I've never sat in a game where a widows openly talked about her past and laugh louder than anyone I've ever heard, an Arab wished me good luck in Hebrew, and the most aggressive female player I've ever seen wished us "positive energy".

It can be a great game. Sometimes it's too nitty, but lately it's been good. And as far as entertainment is concerned, just put fallah in the game and even if you're stuck you're bound to crack a smile. Reminds me of the jolly old iraqi grandfather I never had....

That's amusing. She might be the biggest degenerate I've meet and it's awesome. Apparently she's been living in the Wynn since June.

I'm not sure what the deal is, but this sketchy touchy-feely old guy that looked like one of those cowboys that struck gold (i.e. cowboy hat, all-black getup, jacket, gold chain outside the shirt), basically hung out in the poker room all day and kept coming over to check on her. He didn't sit in a single game all day.

She played probably 50/40/2, full 10-handed

Wouldn't surprise me if she was busto and owed money. She use to blow a bunch of cash in pits as well. Never a good sign. Interesting character though. She was a big fan of betting in the dark too. Pretty amusing.

her name's ann. she's got a lot of potential, she just needs to plug a few leaks in her game. she's hyper-aggressive, reads hands well, and has a ton of heart, which are all qualities that the local grinder-nits lack.

btw why isn't this thread in b&m?

her name is ann, she's a former snowboarding instructor who plays poker now, i've run into her in a lot of 5-10 thru 10-25 games around vegas over the last 2 years. I'm not sure about the status of her bankroll but i ran into her at PCA last year and i think she cashed. poker aside she's an incredibly nice person

Her brother is a high stakes mix game player i've seen just about everywhere i've gone, also no knowledge of his bankroll size but he plays pretty big.

Former snowboard coach? No surprise there. She's a cool character to have at the poker table, that's for sure. I was just amused that she has been living in the Wynn. I think that's pretty damn sick, in a good way. Wynn does have some very legit poker rates though..
