It's really really easy to get outplayed by an A. Not so much by a K. This is an easy fold on third if the K were an A.

I'm thinking if I had just called fourth as I ought to have, the pot would have been small enough that I could have folded fifth.

i think you can check / call fourth.

i'd fold fifth. it's either a free roll against you OR you're an equity dog against a pair + low draw.
