TD27: dealt rough nine
I suspect this is a spot where there's a lot of variation in how we play. So it might prompt some discussion.
Triple Draw 2-7 Lowball Limit ($2/$4) (converter) SB ($35), Seat 3 BB ($52), Seat 4 UTG ($128), Seat 5 MP ($73), Seat 6 CO ($46.50), Seat 1 Hero ($251), Seat 2 Button at Seat 2. SB posts $1. BB posts $2. Hand: [6h 5d 9h 4s 7d] Round 1: (1.50 SB) UTG folds. MP folds. CO folds. Hero raises. SB raises. BB raises. |

Re: TD27: dealt rough nine
I call and if neither is pat I am. If one is pat I toss the 9 and 6 and fold without immediately deucing out.

Re: TD27: dealt rough nine
In a 2/4 game this is probably close to a fold because you will be up against 2 real 1 card draws a lot and the pot is still smallish. If the sb and bb in this hand are tight and aggressive players that play reasonably well and normal before the draw then I think DD's line is best.

Re: TD27: dealt rough nine
call the BB raise, capping is just inflating the pot and will not change anything pre-draw. If both opponents are drawing 1 card then kiss your ass goodbye because your a dog, but if both draw 2 - stay pat. The hand will break even at best, cross your fingers that this is one of the coin-flip times your good.
PS: I wouldn't fault someone for folding... its not that horrible a choice. |

Re: TD27: dealt rough nine
I folded. My feeling is that this is the ultimate in reverse implied odds hands.

I think this is a fold as well.
