Default Would a rally in DC work?

Hello guys,

Much like the rest of you I am disgusted at the recent developments. As such I was thinking if rallying in front of capitol hill would work to rectify this situation. The bill even if it goes into law CAN be changed at a later date. If enough of us rally and send a message that we want poker back and if that doesn't happen we will ALL VOTE DEMOCRAT IN THE COMING ELECTIONS then maybe something will be done. It is better than sitting around complaining about the bill.

We have to hit them were it hurts the most at the polls. I would be willing to coordinate this march if need be. What do you guys think?

Politically I don't think it will help much, but hell it may be fun to get some 2p2ers together, and if it makes people feel better I say go for it.

One thing that could happen is "benign neglect." Laws are passed all the time that aren't enforced btw.

We don't need a rally and we don't need to vote Democrat.

We just need to figure out all of the legal loopholes and find out which sites will allow them.

Three months from now it will be "business as usual", just on a different site than Party and obviously a little tougher.

The correct answer would be Libertarian, but this is not a politics thread and I suggest we save these types of comments for the politics forum.

Hey when I said we all vote democrat it is just a threat not reality. If it was a democrat who had tacked the bill on I would say we all vote republican.

The point is that the only power we have is to THREATEN to vote against the people who tacked this on. Whether we actually do it or not is our little secret.

Having signs saying bring internet poker back or we vote democrat, libetarian, etc. is just a bargaining tool.

Picture about 100 online poker players rallying in front of the Capitol. I want something to be done about this too, but that seems a little unrealistic.
