no offense, but i really don't see the Scrubs/Family Guy comparison at all

[/ QUOTE ]

None taken, here is my thought process:

Family Guy= lots of random humor (like peter fighting a chicken for no reason or what have you), do you agree with this?
Do you agree that you can most likely miss an episode of family guy and see the next one without being confused?

Scrubs= lots of random humor, JD's dream sequences, "Zoom Zoom", Janitor and other random phrases etc. While scrubs has more developments than family guy, rarely will you need to watch an older episodes of scrubs to get the new episode, do you agree?

Shows like 24, Prison Break, etc. if you miss one episode, you are behind and confused most likely, and must watch the older episode to get the newer one.

Would you agree with what i have written so far?

not really...a lot of the jokes in Scrubs build on each other over the course of multiple shows in a way i don't think Family Guy ever does. example: a lot of them rely on the relationships between characters (i don't imagine Ted is nearly as awesome if you're new to things)

i can't think of any Family Guy jokes that rely on previous episodes

plus, you know, the shows have completely different tones.

about the tones i just think that family guy is more random where scrubs is tries to be more cute.

if you can think of another show that is better to compare it to, tell me and i will edit my post no problem.
i just wanted people to have a sense of what it is before they watch it (so they now what to expect)

That MSNBC show where they catch statutory rape pervs. Usually these shows are unwatchable to me, but for some reason I was able to sit through an hour of this. Okay in very small doses I guess.

behind, as usual, but though they all suck and the show sucks, it's good that sanjaya didn't cost anyone else a shot.
