Low Stake Cash Games During Major Tournaments?
I was thinking of going to Foxwoods this weekend to play some 1/2 NL, but I just realized that the WPT main event is going to be around. I was wondering if they will have tables for side games that small during a major event, and if the game gets significantly harder? I have been several times before and normally do pretty well, but I dont want to waste my time if I can't play or if the competition is much better. Thanks...

I'm guessing yes and no in that order.

If you're scared already of it being "too tough" then don't even bother. You're already screwed, honestly. Dude, it's 1/2 NL, the players are't all pros or the toughest on earth.

Anybody playing 1/2 during a WPT event is either steaming MAJORLY or wants to GO ALL IN LIKE THE PROZ ON TV

Re: Low Stake Cash Games During Major Tournaments?
It will be super busy, with way more big games than normal (usually 10/25 is the highest NL game, this weekend there were many tables of that plus 1 or 2 50/100 games going). The low limit games will not be any tougher at all, except in terms of how long you'll be waiting for a seat. In fact, for some reason I find them easier when there are big events in town.

Almost always easier when a tournament is here in Vegas.
