Default Bodog...

I currently play poker, bet sports/horses etc. on Bodog...what is the status with them now...should I take my money out...not bet on the Super Bowl??? Nothing on their site is indicating that they plan on no longer accepting funds from the US (not that I think they would advertise it), but I really don't want to keep tying my money up...any news?

Why did they drop Blueberry (Jamie Gold)? Also it looks like to me they are pumping it up. They have turned their 100k gurantee tourney into a 200k guarantee tourney and you pay the same entry fee.

They may have dropped him, due to the controversy around the status of his winnings... apparently he reneged on his staking deal...

Nope/they dropped jamie gold cause he was a usa based player who frequently plays in LA at the poker rooms. The move was a way to distance themselves from the usa market along with bonus whores who enjoyed the 10 percent reloads that im told was a usa players dream. Both of these decisions that come within one week of each other are in my view the beginning of them pulling the plug on the USA market. Calvin has tons of money and will jeopordise this if he stays in the USA market//my 2 cents

I have played at all major sites for 6 years( 5 - 13 games @ a time). I am VERY pleased with Bodog for these reasons...

Some of the best NL, PL HE, Omaha games online (I've tried allmost all sites). Can always find 2-3 profitable games.

Customer service IS excellent. I am sending them $2,000 via western union and they are paying the juice (@ $160) AND GIVING ME ANOTHER 10% BONUS ON THE $2,000 and the bonus is put on immediatly, no waiting. You just can't find that online.

I have full confidence that they are going to be around as long and probably longer than any other majot site.NO fear about ultimately getting a cash out should I need it in a timely manner.I trust them completely.

GREAT people work there just a phone call away. (Greg H, Jessica to name a couple).

Finally, afrer getting used to it, I find their software among THE best online, _many_ great features. Check it out.

I think you will be pleasantly surprised. I am staying with Bodog.

Edmund

If a poker site pulls out of US, will it give current players their balance?
