Is this a scam?!?!
I needed a new Registration Key to my pokertracker and sent a mail to "support@pokertracker.com" and got this back from "pokertracker@gmail.com":
"get this patch http://www.pokertracker.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20594 and send the new product ID." I didn't see that it was sent from a gmail adress so I downloaded the patch and installed it on my computer. When I was finished I notied the gmail-adress and paniced. Is this an obvious scam (just seems a bit strange to hack an small/medium stakes grinder?) or am I being paranoid? Haven't logged into my account yet and won't do so until I get some responses from you saying that it's common practise by the PT staff to reply from a gmail adress. Thanks! |

Re: Is this a scam?!?!
but i've been in contact with the PT support once before and got a reply from the same adress that I wrote to: support@pokertracker.com.
Isn't that a bit weird? |
