I'm game, depending on when. I'm a semi-unemployed degenerate.

Unfortunately, I'll no longer be in CT on memorial day. I graduate the 27th.

I may be game for the 2nd or 3rd weekends in May, but I might also elect go go dancing in Boston or CT, respectively, instead for those weekends. I'll talk to people on Wed. to see if anyone else from here wants to go to either event. If not, I may be game.

Is it true that the cheapest hotel rooms there are $75/day? What are the lowest limits played?

I'm planning some Casino trip to the states later this year (like in summer), but I'm not yet decided where to go. Vegas of course is an option, but it seems that the journey is more expensive than the journey to Foxwoods (I'm from Europe), but I suppose the Hotels are cheaper in Vegas?

I'd like to have some chance to win enough to cover my travel expenses .

lowest limit game at foxwoods is 2/4 limit which frankly plays like i don't even know what online. .1/.2 maybe? there are 7-8 to every flop and no one ever folds, so maybe like poker online was a few years ago for all of you veterans. obviously the games get tougher a bit as you move up but i would say the 10/20 limit game there is maybe like a .5/1 or a 1/2 limit game online these days. for no limit, lowest game is 1/2 nl with minimum buyin i think 60? it may be 100 now. and max buyin 300. that can get expensive obviously if you take a beat or two. they also have sit n goes but those cost i think $100 or so each to enter. perhaps more people can chime in here with information.

"Get ready to burn and turn in the only casino poker room in New England."

Eye h8 poker but will probably be spending the whole weekend at a 4/8 table getting stomped by players who coldcall 3 bets with KTo.

The foxwoods hotels are not going to be "cheap" on the weekend, but a 4-way split would be affordable for the low roller. Also, about 10 miles away you can find something like the norman bates style Stardust Motel.

Vegas can cost you money because there is tons more to do than just gambool. I found the tables to be tighter(not necessarily better) then most places Ive played. Of course I was in vegas for redneck weekend aka nascar weekend.

Makes me wish I was still living in upstate New York. (Only about 4 hours from Foxwoods) This 2/5 max limit on Colorado sucks.
