so this week i logged my first 21k hands of cash at 2/4 and 3/6 mostly FR with some heads up/SH when it was juicy. I ran at 4.08ptbb and found the competition pretty softish most times.

2 players i seem to have the most trouble against:

rdegs21
uconnsports1

if u guys are on here, your games are solid, and tricky. there are a few hilarious regulars that play but i dont want to name drop. I've haven't played cash in 2-3 years, and i'm kind of learning as I go but it doesnt seem too difficult. The biggest problem I see is moving up, as even 5/10 doesnt have 10 FR games, and FR is what im most comfortable with, I'll probably end up mixing in some 6 max soon so I can move up easier. opinions on my game welcome, i played mtts for the past 1.5 years but am trying to transition to mainly cash to save my sanity.

ty... i am kinda in the same spot as you are as far as moving up. i have had alot of success joining every single waitlist of 5/10 3/6 and 2/4 (both fullring and 6max) and then just game selecting when the table pops up. that way i also get to see whether any good players have position on me. this worked real well until i ran bad and tilt took shots at 10/20 and 25/50 (losing a few buyins at both). After 2 days of 2/4 i have my confidence back and am gonna start game selecting slightly higher games again. u play very well and haven't noticed any big problems with ur game... gl man

Hey Mman, I've seen you at a few of my tables at 2/4 lately. We've played 300-400 hands together, but no real pots between us. In the short amount of time we've played, you seem very solid, ergo, probably why we haven't played many big pots against each other. I have you running at 12/7.5/2.

I haven't played much with uconn, very LAG over the limited amount of hands. rdegs I have over 2k hands with, I've always thought the same about him as well, solid, sometimes tricky player.

Anyway, continued good luck!

uconn whats your winrate at 2/4?

you're tough to play against so keep taking shots at those bigger games and stay away from 2/4
