Default Maybe easy, but not in the heat of battle

Nit raises utg, I 3bet A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] tight guy ccs 3. He doesn't play alot of hands, but coldcalls pretty much every time I raise. We havent had any real altercations thus far.

Flop: All 4s

check, I bet, both call.

turn: K

check, I bet, villain raises, and nit folds.

My action?

Well, let's see. You obviously can't fold. So assuming the guy doesn't have AA (would he just smoothcall preflop?) or a 4, you should 3-bet because you're freerolling an A river.

If he actually could have a 4 or AA somehow, then you just call.

I'd just call down here. I wouldn't expect to win very often, but to chop a lot.

the title is a bit confusing, in the heat of battle were you tempted to go 3? or are you saying it should be easy to fold once out of battle? i would just call down hoping/expecting a chop

Who cares what we put him on the important thing is we chop or lose. 3 betting here is completely ridiculous. Even if we are good what the hell is villain supposed to call down with on a 444K board?
