Tunica surrounding the upcoming circuit event

A few of us are driving down for the Missouri/Ole Miss football game on Sept. 8th and some cash game action surrounding the circuit event.

1) is anyone else going?

2) this will be my first time in Tunica, so suggestions on casinos will be appreciated, especially for the spreading of non-HE games.

someone has to have info on typical cash game spreads at the casinos there.

Just about anything from 3/6 LHE to 5/10 NLHE is the norm. Try the search function. Should be several old threads on this.

I'm sure there will be tons of PLO probably from 2-5 all the way through 50-100 if thats what u want... If u wanna play o8 you could prob get a 10/20 or 20/40 or maybe higher going... Not sure what other games u might want to play...

You haven't ever been to Tunica have you?? At least not lately...99% of the players there (local or otherwise) wouldn't know a split pot game if it bit'em in the azz. There is some Omahahaha but only 1 game anywhere close to those limits. Its a 25/50 PLO I think. Usually either going at the 'Shoe or Goldstrike. Tunica is mostly holdem just like everybody else!!!

If you like limit, best places to play IMO in Tunica, are the Grand and the Gold Strike, avoid the Shoe, as it's truly no fold 'em hold 'em there.

Thanks for the replies. By the way, I didn't search on this because I didn't know if locals thought there might be a higher prevalence of non-HE games spread because of the circuit event, or if it would be pretty much like normal (which sounds like 99% HE).

I was thinking O8, and maybe even stud. But again, this sounds unlikely. Thanks.
