Oden if he comes out WILL be the #1 pick IMO
A guy like him comes around about every 15 years, you cannot pass up on that
not to mention that every championship team in recent history has had a quality big man, with obv exception to MJ's Bulls

[/ QUOTE ]

What is this BS, a guy like this comes out every 15 years. Dude, the great players in the NBA over the last 10 years went to the pros straight out of HS. Yao was drafted 5 years ago, he's pretty good. Dwight Howard is a rock. I don't understand why these statements keep being made.

Milwaukee- They really suck defensively, and have enough capable scorers. Who they take: Oden

[/ QUOTE ]

so wrong. Milwaukee is one of the very few teams in the lottery who should take Durant with the #1 pick. Their only dominant scorer right now is Redd, and they are currently pretty committed to a Bogut/Villaneuva frontcourt. Don't get me wrong, Oden/Bogut/Villaneuva would be really cool too, but Durant sliding in at SF is a much better fit.

Meb,

At some point Milwaukee needs to start thinking about how they are going to stop Bosh, Jefferson, Howard, Curry, etc. in the East

Villanueva does a lot of the same things Durant does (granted not as well, but still).

Of course it's dumb for either of us to talk in absolutes, and I know you have seen them more than I have, but if I'm Milwaukee I'm taking Oden.

So say that. When you say 15 years, it just makes you sound dumb.

We understood what you were saying, but in the last 15 years you've got Shaq, Duncan, Yao and Howard and I'm probably forgetting someone else.
