rashida has said in several interviews that she is not leaving the office. Of course thats what the producers would make her say. something to note, mid season ed helms got a multiyear contract and it was reported in the media, but nothing for rashida. I would be surprised if she's back next year.

Good news that I hadn't heard. I assumed he'd be back in a few episodes somehow but didn't think I'd get to see him every week. I think his character is going to be really strong with this break off and it will give the writers a chance to rework what they do for his character a little bit because he was slipping near the end.

couldn't agree more. I loved him for most of the episodes he was in but towards the end it was a little over the top (and not in a good way like Carell)

Well part of it was making him unlikeable enough for Michael to realize he needs Dwight, but it was a little too much.
