Default Galaxy StarWorld Casino Macau has PokerPro tables

Got a tip from someone on the ground in Macau:

Galaxy StarWorld Casino in Macau, which opened for business in October 2006, has installed a PokerPro electronic Texas Hold'em table on the 3rd floor of the casino.

The big question: how much business will it generate?

Remember the following:

1. Media laws in both China and Hong Kong currently prohibit gambling competitions not licensed by the China Welfare Lottery or the Hong Kong Jockey Club from being broadcast in either China or Hong Kong.

2. The Hong Kong Jockey Club in particular has not issued a Texas Hold'em broadcast license to the WPT. As a result, WPT's attempt to put WPT-branded Texas Hold'em tournaments on TV in Hong Kong has been blocked.

3. The WSOP has NEVER aired in either China or Hong Kong.

4. The gamblers who bet money at the Macau casinos mostly come from China or Hong Kong. They don't live in Macau.

5. The one WPT-branded telecast to air in China in 2008 will be the grand final of the China National Tuolaji Tour, which features a Bridge-like game.
