Sapo,

I've used that brine recipe for the last few years and it always works out great.

Good Eats turkey

More on brining: http://bbq.about.com/cs/turkey/a/aa110103a.htm

I brine a 10-12 pound turkey overnight.

My 15 year old daughter and I will be getting up at approximatly 9am, leaving at 10am to drive from Kingman to Phoenix. We will meet my Mom and her new husband at the Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak, enjoy a scrumptious (ie expensive) buffet and then head to the Sun Devil Stadium in order to cheer on our Devils vs. USC.

Once we win, we'll take the husband and daughter to the hotel and then Moms and I will be going clubbing to celebrate our invite to the Rose Bowl.

(All of this if the day is perfect, ldo)

I plan on driving around to find a Mexican place and then getting a California Burrito.

I have no family out here, which is fine because I hate Thanksgiving anyway. I don't eat any of the food.
