Default [40$ 6-max) What hands can we push here UTG?

Six player sng with prizes to top two. 65%/35% distribution.

The blinds go up to 100/200 next hand when I am in the BB

Seat 5 is the button.

Seat 2: Villain3 (1125 in chips)
Seat 4: Hero (1001 in chips)
Seat 5: Villain1 (1914 in chips)
Seat 6: Villain2(1960 in chips)
Villain1: posts small blind 75
Villain2: posts big blind 150
----- HOLE CARDS -----
dealt to Hero [X X]
Hero: We push with?

With what hands can we push if the table have been fairly normal with no maniacs?

SNG-W says we push with 44+, A8o+,A7s+, KQs, but with the blind increase next round, surely we have to broaden the range a bit?

I'd say open that range up. Probably J9s+ and 33+. No one wants to commit a huge majority of their stack with a marginal hand. At least that's what I take away watching Jhub

Would you do that because of the blind increase, or just in general?

44+, Any suited Ace, Any 2 face cards, J9+
Depending on the table, I may push with any 2.

the blind increase would weigh in somewhat, but even at t150 not assuming a blind increase in the next few hands, id open up that initial range. your stack is suck that im looking to push hands that play well vs the calling ranges and in this spot you can do that pretty wide with the added hands i mentioned.

But according to ICM we'd have to put the opponents on a pretty tight calling range. Otherwise the move is -EV as stated by SNG Wizard.

Do we really have reason to disregard ICM by widening the push range in this spot?
