Default 2NL overpair facing huge overpush

2NL...

A hand played by my gf. She asked me what to do after this guy pushed, I was a little confused myself. Personally, if this was me in the Hand, I raise to $0.11 preflop, but besides that, is this a call or fold on flop?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (9 handed) Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Hero ($3.32)
MP3 ($2.87)
CO ($7.72)
Button ($3.23)
SB ($4.96)
BB ($8.37)
UTG ($1.42)
UTG+1 ($4.91)
MP1 ($1.24)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
2 folds, MP1 calls $0.02, Hero raises to $0.08, 3 folds, SB calls $0.07, 1 fold, MP1 calls $0.06.

Flop: ($0.26) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, MP1 checks, Hero bets $0.2, SB raises to $4.88, MP1 folds, Hero ??

2nl=call all the time here... I see some donk w/ A7o here or a 5Xo semi-bluffing retardedly. If he had an overpair that tops yours, you would more than likely see it pf raised, and if not, he's dumping money.

Call. Your opponent probably has something that seems nut-like to a 2NLer like A7 or 88 and is already running around the house high-fiving his pets. He'll be confused when he gets back.

Ty all for the advice. Glad to see it's what I thought it was. Anyways, we call, they have a set of 2's, we lose the pot. I'm not posting this because I'm being results oriented. A small percentage of 2NL'ers do play like this (pushing huge with basically the nuts), but I guess not near enough of them to make this a fold...ever.

p.s. - imo you'll hardly ever see a push like this with the nuts on a flop in higher levels. smarter players play smarter...
