How about "nature's worst card protector" AKA mercury?:

I did use rubber dog doo for a while...

It never really went over to well.

I might have to try this sometime. What kind of things did people say about it?

[/ QUOTE ]

Dang it! I got beat.

What would you say?

I also used the rubber dog poop for a while. It got a ton of laughs at the poker table. And then for laughs, I would go over to the craps table and yell "Any craps" and throw it to the stickman. I'm banned for life from that casino, but not because of this story.

It's been a while since I used a card protector. My favorites are my Batman diecast (3") figures. Also, I've used different marvel super deformed heroes (Capt. America, Wolverine, etc.)

[/ QUOTE ] For the most part people would just look at me with a disgusted look. I still don't knwo why I quit using it.

Most likely because I don't feel the need to say "I play so much poker that I have my own card protector." It was always more of a joke than anything. A chip works fine for me.
