I'll be there Memorial Day weekend, then either last weekend of June or first weekend of July, then again in late July or early August. If I'm around when there are WSOP tourneys going on, I will probably talk about playing them and then play blackjack instead.

i'll be in and out of vegas for most of the WSOP, does anyone have an extra room in a house that they want to rent out?

It sounds like a ton of people are going to be there the first weeked of July but leaving after the 3rd. Why is this? I was considering an extended weekend trip that would have me coming to Vegas on the 5th (Thursday) and leaving Sunday the 8th. What am I missing?

not really missing much. we got our house for a month from the 3rd to the 3rd. just didn't think it was worth hanging around another week or whatever just to play the ME.

I think it's that the ME is sooo long, some people don't want to commit to a week or two to play in it. if you actually want to play in a few different tournaments, it's probably better to go beforehand.

Also, I'm gonna try to play in an event er two--my job starts June 21st-ish so I might just try to come out for a weekend.
