Default Best resources for learning PLO

So I dabbled in PLO after getting a little bored with grinding (and winning) at NLE50. I like it, but realize that it is an entirely different game and requires a lot of education.

What resources/books/etc are the best for learning this crazy game? Is there a forum/site that is best for this particular game.

I have Super System 2 and have been reading that chapter, have read the strategy articles on this site, and have glanced at the forum on 2+2.

Any other advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I went through this earlier this year.

1) Ciaffone's Omaha book from his 'coach' website (whilst you're about it, Ciaffone & Reuben's "NL & PL Poker" is worth having.
2) Slotboom's "Secrets of PLO", his website has reviews and fair opinions on other works
3) Mahmoud's "Science of Poker", has some good data and explanations of playing different draws etc

Whilst SS2 is OK, I don't feel it was very helpful to me.

If you want to get used to how the hands work etc, then practicing is possible cheaply in a Fixed Limit 25c/50c game on the Ongame network. Get to see lots of showdowns, and see some really sick beats!

When I started I'd screw up sometimes, thinking I had a nut-flush with a bare Ace or a full house when I had trips.

Use advanced interrogation techniques on the elite posters in the forum.

You should read books only to learn the very basics of plo, 4 cards that play together, play nut cards, etc. Hand posting and practice will provide best results. Btw please do not post that after 2,000 hands you are running 13 ptbb/100 and have determined that PLO is the easiest form of poker on earth. That only angers the poker gods. They will rain gutshot after gutshot and runner runner flush to put you on tilt.
