Yes. If I'm your dealer, tip BIG. I'm the good looking one with the brilliant personality.

When is it appropriate to tip the floor in the poker room. I have always been ??? about that...

[/ QUOTE ]

When and if you feel like it, thats the best time. I know its a cop-out answer, but honestly for the floor thats the best policy. Just don't tip for decisions ruled in your favor, thats rude to your opponent.

Sup Assani (fe21 from fbg)...

And obviously, TT, that goes w/o saying. But I guess I just am curious...I too am a solid tipper, but as far as the floor goes, is it to try and get you in a "better" game faster (ie. telling you that game A is better than game B etc?). TIA again.

And Assani, you out in Vegas yet? You plan on coming over for a bar-b-q with all of us right?

Do the people that tip house cleaning do so on an every-day basis or just in a lump sum when leaving? I always feel like a complete d-bag when leaving because I forget to leave money 100% of time, even though I personally feel they deserve it the most. I think I'll start leaving a 5 spot every time I leave so that it becomes habbit or something.

What about tipping at the cage? Is it standard? If so, how much? Does it depend on how much you leave with?

Edit: I assume it's the same for casinos in Los Angeles.

i think it should be a daily thing b/c there is a good chance it is not the same person cleaning it every day.

i feel bad b/c i always tip everyone in vegas, but i always forget about this. is it standard to just leave like a 5 on your pillow or what? how do they know what is theirs to take as a tip?

One I didn't see mentioned was tipping Housekeeping. Always leave a tip for the people who clean your room. They probably deserve it the most too.

[/ QUOTE ]

QFT, $5/day should be standard.
