Default I\'m like a lost child QQ hand 25nl

Opponent is 27,18,1.5

Poker Stars
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.10/$0.25
5 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
Hero: $42.40
CO: $20.55
Button: $41.90
SB: $8.50
BB: $25.20

Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is UTG with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Hero raises to $1, CO folds, Button calls, 2 folds.

Flop: 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($2.35, 2 players)
Hero bets $2, Button raises to $4.5, Hero raises to $15, Button calls.

Turn: 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($32.35, 2 players)

Hero falls to the ground with confusion.

It seems like none of the options are good. He obviously has a verys strong hand. However a check fold seems very weak to me. I mean we do beat pair/ace of diamonds hands. However out side of that we don't beat much. Should I have played the flop differently to avoid this situation?

Am I to take it from the lack of replies here that I just have to bite the bullet and accept that this is one of those hands that all options are [censored]?

Probably c/f. The reraise could imply a nut 4-flush, but you could just as easily be drawing dead. If he's got a set or a weakish four flush, you could possibly push him off the hand... but probably not in 25nl.

Pretty easy c/f for me.

His flat call confuses me. I think we can safely eliminate 66, 99, and JJ from what he has. He can't have a straight, and two pair is so unlikely. A hand like 10dQx, or KdQx would be trying to get it in as quickly as possible imo. I also doubt he has a low flush (J high or worse). That leaves only a couple of possible hands:

Axd, Kxd, Qxd (does AdJx do this here?)

*edit*
Brain fart, I think it's much more likely he has top pair w/flush draw. Probably get it in here. This blank turn doesn't help his hand.

Uuhm... I might not be the best in those spots, but i usually just call the flop raise and play pretty passive. I probably call down, if he has an aggr factor of like 2+, cause he will bet his jack and this way i get max value out of him. If he flopped a flush... happens..

WTF are all of you talking about? Hero's 3bet on the flop commits him to the hand. A safe card fell on the turn. Just get it in, this will be a scared J or draw enough that you can't fold at this point.

Exactly what percentage of JJJ calls the flop 3 bet?

AJ is obviously a small part of villain's calling range, but gutshots w/ a diamond, A9 w/ a diamond, even A6 with a diamond are all possible.

The mistake in this hand, IMO, is building such a large pot on the flop w/ just a pair. Once he's done that, it's too late to get away from the hand.

Edit: By the way, despite my authoritarian tone in stating my opinion, I could very well be way off here. If I am then it's probably a huge leak that I need to fix. Somebody set me straight if my logic is bad.

Looks suspiciously like a flush draw. Make the [censored] pay and pot that bitch on the turn.

I have to stop posting in here after 5 redbulls...

man, any reads? when you bet the flop, did you plan on 3-betting raises?

pretty much the only play you have now is to jam. he might fold 2 pair, a set or a single big [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] for a big bet here. if he already has a flush, guess it's reload time.
