Seminole Hard Rock Cafe & Casino, Tampa
Anyone been there? I'll be going for spring break and was wondering how the poker was and what limits/games there are. Thanks in advance!

Re: Seminole Hard Rock Cafe & Casino, Tampa
There are a ton of threads on the FL Hard Rocks and FL live poker. Basicly they are 1-2 and 2-2 limit and tournaments with 20%+ rakes.
FL is the worst state by far for live poker. |

This is the same place where Anna Nicole Smith died two days ago. If you're into her, they might have some kind of memorial or something.

Re: Seminole Hard Rock Cafe & Casino, Tampa
It's fun if you have a few hours to kill, but I wouldn't make it a destination. The games are insanely soft. The 1-2 and 2-2 tables regularly have 7-8 to the flop.

Re: Seminole Hard Rock Cafe & Casino, Tampa
They just up'd the vig on their sngs, and I'm sure they did the same for the mtts.
They have 10-person sngs, for $125, $250, $575 and $1050...all paying out the top 3. Levels are each 10 hands long, they ARE NOT timed. Starting stacks vary on the buy-in. As for mtts, they recently changed around a lot, I'll be stopping by shortly to pick up tourney structure sheets but the $85+15 and 200+40 are CRAP SHOOTS! They've started running a $1k+75 every Monday nite and a $500+50 every Wed nite, don't know the turnout or the structure yet. And they're running a "deep stack" tourney on 2/24 for $550 and 2/25 for $400, again, not sure of the structure but will be finding out shortly. |
