you mean check/fold?

PokerMonkey: post about $17 invested very nice
in the heart of battle very important not to forget about goals. risk 39 to win 17 not so well.
My first impulse after reading was to push but after his post now i think its easy check\fold

No he means check/raise all-in while you have the nuts. (I keep wanting to call RoundTower "she" - weird - I suppose it must be the avatar.)

It's actually like $32 to win $39, or $32 to win $71 if Villain calls / bets... not to win $17. You have to go with the pot odds but I think it's generally bad to put most of your money in when you're way behind.

It gets more difficult if you have a read on an opponent as very aggressive or on tilt, and is likely to bluff if you check to him whether he's ahead of you or not. If you assume you'll usually win when he's bluffing, he only needs to be bluffing around 10-15% of the time to make this a call (to bring your pot odds up to around 30%).

On this board however, it's hard to see many hands that would float you that haven't now improved with this card. Maybe AA which took your lead as a semibluff, but unless he has the flush himself, he has to then be afraid to bet because he'll think you got there and are trying to trap.

1) you are not "committed"
2) dont pot turn
3) check turn
4) even if he is on monkeytilt you are never getting called unless he has you beat on the turn

But he is folding when he has you beat, such as when he holds AKT on the flop.
