the NFL acknowledging that a complaint was made by the Pats team owners, in person, immediately following the game.

Ruh roh, time for NT! to start a thread about how Kraft is a snitch and the rest of the NFL is going to shun him from now on.

There are literally hundreds of ways that noise could have happened but the fact remains that a day later no one who was in the stadium has said anything about it, which makes it pretty damn likely that the noise was heard only on TV.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is dead on. The Colts TV broadcast on channel 3 coincided with the Rolling Stones concert on channel 4. That echo-ish noise everyone heard during the Moss catch was audio spillover from Keith Richards' guitar solo on "Undercover of the Night."

Its an hour drive home and $7 for a Budweiser. And if you can't enjoy an NFL game without being drunk then I feel sorry for you.

This is going to be very hard to prove. I suspect that the evidence will be inconclusive and everyone will stand by their original accusations/denials.

everyone - I've been to sports events at 6 different places in Indianapolis including RCA/Hoosierdome and have never heard anything like this. Therefore it never happened.

Actually, during games I like to alternate between non-light beers and Diet Pepsi MAX ZERO.

it seems like attaching some sort of recorder to the speaker amps would make it very easy to investigate what was being played by the speakers.

I assume they would unplug that and hide whatever it is now that they are under investigation (unless getting caught doing that would trigger bigger penalties, which it should.)
