why didnt u just shove the turn wtf?

Because it's infinitely better when villain misses and then folds. Matt Flynn explains this well in his new book but this hand does an incredible job of demonstrating how the concept applies in the real world.

A hand like this comes down to your supreme ability to not misclick versus his ability to not misclick. You have a hand where better hands always call if theyre thinking, so you need to exploit him in other ways.

If you're focussed on one table and had a very secure internet connection, i'd leave myself the extra quarter to bluff the river in case he's multi tabling and isnt paying close attention.

If you're on 6+ tables or you occasionally suffer from timeouts (and are out of disconnect protects), you should shove it in asap.

So glad that i play the minbet and dont have to deal with deep, sophisticated strategies like this.

Id you had 65s then you should leave yourself with that extra quarter for sure, in the rare event he has a shittier high card and doesnt want to embarass himself calling 8 high, or whatever.
