If you see an Australian guy running around with a Cambodian girl, please tell him she is just a gold digger and he should ditch her.

Just remember...charging a man with murder in that place is like handing out speeding tickets in the Indy 500.

I got mugged in Ho Chi Minh, basically my friend and I got on 2 different motorcycle taxis after leaving a bar, his guy took off and my guy went slow.

He pulled up to a taxi and said he wasn't feeling good and I should take the taxi. As soon as I got in the taxi all it's doors opened up and there was about 8 guys accosting me looking for my money. Well I had a money clip on the inside of my shorts so when they lifted my shirt or went in my pocket they only found about the equivelent of 80 cents. When they asked where my money was I told them my friend had it all. They then got out and I told the cab to start driving.

I made him turn on his meter too, and then when he got me close to my hotel, I told him to stop, he turned back and asked for money. I laughed and said your friends have it all. Truth is I only had about $50 in vietnamese money, but fore anyone that has been there that is a fairly decent stack of dong.

My friend on the other motorcycle said his guy stopped by a group of guys but then kept going.

Bill one thing that was pretty good in HCM were the water parks. When I was there 5 yrs ago there were 3 of them.

Vietnam annoyed me, I felt like people were always trying to rip me off, and the constant horn honking on the streets starts to wear thin on you after a while.

Are you going to Laos after this? Laos is so laid back and the people are awesome, pretty much the exact opposite of Vietnam.
