200nl 2 sets I considered folding
First hand villain is a regular running at 22/15/3.5 over 1k hands. Haven't really seen him make any moves like this but it is uncharacteristic of him to continue past turn with just a FD.
Full Tilt Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $1/$2 4 players Converter Stack sizes: Hero: $264.45 Button: $133.90 SB: $197.85 BB: $204 Pre-flop: (4 players) Hero is UTG with 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Hero raises to $7, Button folds, SB calls, BB calls. Flop: 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($21, 3 players) SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $15, SB folds, BB calls. Turn: 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($51, 2 players) BB checks, Hero bets $40, BB calls. River: 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($131, 2 players) BB is all-in $142, Hero folds. Uncalled bets: $142 returned to BB. Results: Final pot: $131 This one is a little more interesting. If one guy has a flush and the other guy has a straight or something like that I am getting direct odds to fill up. However if one guy is beating me and the other has like 2pair or something I'm screwed... Was really borderline with this one. Full Tilt Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $1/$2 6 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $190.80 UTG+1: $242.60 CO: $575.80 Hero: $230 SB: $196 BB: $173.20 Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is Button with 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG raises to $7, UTG+1 raises to $24, CO folds, Hero calls, SB folds, BB calls, UTG calls. Flop: 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($97, 4 players) BB is all-in $149.2, UTG raises all-in $166.8, UTG+1 folds, Hero? |

Re: 200nl 2 sets I considered folding
Id call first one, dunno bout the second one. Its close.
I would call first one, because I rarely see him having a flush here. A single draw woulnt call that turn oop with horrible implied odds. And a hand like KdTd would raise somewhere or often push the turn, in my exp. It could be a badly played set, but if he plays a set that bad, he couldve twopair. And It could be a thin valuebet. But I cant find a fold here for 2:1. |
