Default B&M\'s near San Fran

I'm staying in San Francisco for the summer and am wondering if anyone knows of good B&M's to play at. I'm primarily a hold-em and stud player and am looking to play limits between 50-100 and 75-150. Any advice is appreciated.

Vegas and LA are only about an hour flight away. Or you could drive an hour down to Bay 101. The rooms nearest to SF (Lucky Chances, Artichoke Joe's) generally won't have what you're looking for.

for those limits you have to go to bay101 in san jose...they have 80/160 and 100/200...

in sf, there is only LC which has a 20/40 and they used to spread a 40/80 once a week but im not sure if it goes anymore...i think at oaks and ajs the highest game is 30/60...

Bay 101 has the best 100-200 game around. It's all hold em, though. They also have several 40-80 games. It's the best cardroom to play at in the country. No lie.

The game just got a little tougher. Thanks for the tip.

Here ya go

As already mentioned, Bay 101 is the best in that area for high stakes.

I've never seen the 30/60 go at AJs (although I'm not there very often), it's sporadic. 40/80 never goes at LC anymore. 30/60 is spread on Tues and Fri starting at 1PM at the Oaks.

The AJ 30/60 went sporadically a couple of months ago. Generally they were running it Fridays and Saturdays and/or whenever there was enough professed interest.

There were new faces in the cardroom but not enough of the regulars in the 15/30 game seemed to have the roll or inclination to make a go of the bigger game. There were a lot of long faces and short stacks.

Instead they've been running a 2K min. buy-in no limit game (I think the blinds are 5 and 10) which seems to have legs.
