Re: 3-bet AK ugly board... (Line check)
ugh gross spot. I might be tempted to call for a chop or to beat AK but this is prob fine. Looks like he is either trying to get value with a straight or trying to get thin value with a hand better than AK. Turn check is good imo.

Re: 3-bet AK ugly board... (Line check)
EZ fold and I'm picking a better spot to pick this noob off with. Calling to chop is just -EV when this retard probably hit his lesser hand. GF

Re: 3-bet AK ugly board... (Line check)
My standard line especially against someone so loose would be to raise the flop; as played I think I like the river fold, it's a really gross spot because I cant see a single hand you beat but I cant see what he'd play like this and bet this weakly on the river?

Re: 3-bet AK ugly board... (Line check)
Raise the flop all day every day.
*If* you're beat, it's gonna be by someone c/r you, and even then you probably shouldn't fold against this guy, but when he weakleads you gotta raise for value and protection. |

Re: 3-bet AK ugly board... (Line check)
I don't think we need to raise the flop although it's +ev. The board is soo dry and we don't want to fold out whatever crap he might have, he seems aggro and capable of hanging himself with some stupid bluff. There's no need to raise the flop for protection. If he has a hand worth stacking off with we'll take his money later anyway. Now the board really got bad for your hand but that won't happen often on this flop and I don't think we need to be results oriented. In a vacuum I think calling the flop is best.
