VARIANCE i play better when clean shaven imo

During the end of my latest session (where i dropped 3 buyins), i had a revelation. Due to not working or pretty much doing anything where i need to look respectable, i am very lacklustre with my shaving routine. I tend to shave once every couple of weeks (once a week at most), and even then it's usually a bit of a rush job.

So, near the end of the session, i was trying to think what i was doing wrong (cos although i've had a few beats and coolers over the last few days i don't feel my play has been top notch), and i started scratching my stubble and then it hit me. The fact that my stubble is irritating me is putting me on TILT. I looked through my books and worked out when I last had a shave, and on that day i won 4.5 buyins. I then had 2 winning days the next 2 days, and have had 2 losers since before today.

So there ya have it, I feel if i shave at least every 2 days i will never lose at poker, ldo.

K, i'm off to have a shave before my next session.

*Edit* Actually this razor blows. Best bet is Mach3, and spring for the Turbo cartridges if you're up on the month.

This is wrong, I shaved today after a week and now I'm busto. Don't shave, and for saving your bankroll, send me half of it.

UPDATE: just had a shave with a Mach3. results to follow

i'm also gonna play 4 tables rather than 6, and my session beverage will be orange juice rather than water, just for reference.

just played an hour session with better results. only made a buyin, but it was a pretty slow session. on the whole i felt a whole much more relaxed and focused.

I play better after releasing the hordes of testosterone trapped within my (shaven) baulz. I've tried and tested (awful pun) it many many times.
