Default Iowa - Bigger Games, where are they now?

I used to play the 10-20 and 15-30 limit mixed games 2-3 times a week at prairie meadows until I moved away about a year ago

I was back over thanksgiving and went to Riverside casino and saw the 2-5 PL HOE (Holdem, Omaha High, Omaha H/L) game going but didnt have enough cash on me to play (will not make this mistake again), detailed that in this trip report:
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...age=0&vc=1

Anyway, I will be back in Iowa 2-3 weekends in April and wanted to find out if any games like 10-20 or higher limit HOE or any 2-5 (or higher) PL or NL holdem or mixed games are going and if so, what casinos? I am assuming it will be at Tama (Meskwaki), Riverside, or Prairie Meadows but wasnt sure quite where

Don't quote me on this but this is what I know about the bigger games going

Wednesday usually 2-5 PL HO game at Tama (Meskwaki)This is usually a good game

Thursday usually 2-5 at Prairie Meadows not sure what they play

Friday Riverside has some good action

Now Tama (Meskwaki) has starting having donkaments on Friday and Sunday so this might help increase some games, but not sure about how big the stakes will be. Sorry I couldn't be more help but at least it's a start.

Riverside has good action pretty much every day. I was there Monday afternoon and found a 3/6 game, two 2/5 NL games filled with more sharks than usual, and the 2/5 PL HOE that was playing extremely deep. (5-6k stacks, and that's just what I could see from my table)

Horseshoe Council Bluffs has 20/40 HO on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Sweet little game.

I think that Thursday game at PM is HOE as well - I will have to give them a call to confirm - it played really deep when I was there last fall and would be exactly the game I am looking for - I am now looking for info on Fri/Sat nights for the 2-5 PL HOE as playing Thursday would be good but getting in some good play Fri/Sat will also be nice

CB Horsehoe also gets a 5-10 NL going on Friday nights. It might be a little slower in the summer as some of the bigger players head to Vegas for the summer.

I just wanted to give a brief update as I am currently back in Iowa for the week.

Prairie Meadows:
Sunday: 10-20 Limit HOE after tournament
Monday: 10-20 Limit HOE @ 5pm
Thursday: 2-5 POT LIMIT HOE @ 5pm (but was told it normally starts around 1-2pm) with $300 min, no cap
Friday: 15-30 Limit HOE (probably starting in afternoon, a 6/12 O8 w. 1/2 Kill runs earlier in day)
Saturday: Was told a Limit 10-20 HOE runs occasionally

I wasnt able to get any definite info on any games happening at Riverside but have been told the 2-5 PL HOE runs there occasionally. I was able to play 10-20 HOE on Sunday night and will be back on Monday, it was a fish pond as before as majority of table was omaha clueless which rocks when 2 of the 3 games are omaha, I expect a tougher lineup on Monday night

HOE = Hold'em, Omaha High, Omaha/8 in your report?

Usually O = Omaha/8 and E = Stud/8 when talking about mixed games.

Limit Omaha High is a strange game...
