Anyone know the satellite situation?

I'll be out in Vegas next week, on the 8th, and I was curious if the $1500 Event#45 on Wednesday still has satellites going. I figured I'd take a couple hundred and throw it on one and if I win I'd give it a run and if I didn't I'd just go about enjoying my trip. I tried calling the Rio but you can't get through to anyone live so I'd appreciate any information anyone may have.

I guess worst case I can just go play a $200-$250 SnG somewhere and promise myself to spend the money on the event if I win.

Rio has $175 Sit N Go's going on paying in tourney chips. This is the only satellite they will offer for the rest of the WSOP. I have not played in one to comment on the level of play.

Also, those of us who play poker partially for the humor potential are rarely disappointed by live satellites. Crazy, crazy people there.
