White background flickers like crazy

I'm using my 47" 1080p as my computer monitor and white backgrounds are just horrible. For example google.com just flickers like crazy. Anyone know what is causing the problem and/or know how to fix it? Thanks.

I should have mentioned that I don't notice any flickers on other color backgrounds.
