Default Bellagio Main Event Third Day 1?

A friend just called me and told me Bellagio is considering adding a third day one because of poor turnout, bad scheduling and bad planning.

Here is the announcement:

Announcement
Tournament Director Jack McClelland has just made an announcement concerning the Bellagio Cup III. Tournament officials have just been given permission to add a Day 1C to the schedule. This announcement caused some cheers and some groans throughout the tournament room, as many players did not like the small field, but some played today based on the information that the tournament would be smaller than most other WPT events.

The reason for adding another Day 1 is simple. With only 129 entrants, the Bellagio would have to limit the amount of players for tomorrow's start. Considering the amount of players who will be eliminated at the Rio, tournament officials are hoping for a large turnout.

just a way to justify the third day instead of saying poor planning and poor scheduling
