Until the Supreme Court found it unconstitutional in 2006, the United States of America was 1 of only 5 countries in the world in which the courts would give the death penalty to a minor (under 18yrs of age).

The other 4 are countries in the Middle East.

And we consider ourselves so much more advanced! What a crock.

You can also count on 1 hand, the number of countries who will participate in the overthrow of an elected president, as we did in Iran in 1954, and install a dictator (the Shaw) solely because the elected official was going to nationalize the oil companies, which would devastate the British Oil Co.'s who had invested there.

Every citizen alive in Iran today has had a relative persecuted by the Shaw.

Yes because before you turn 18 you have no understanding of the consequences of your actions. It magically happens on your 18th birthday.

So the US isn't perfect, who cares. No country is perfect and every country has its own skeletons in its closet.

You "fight" islamofacism by spreading rationality and consistent moral values to think that you can stop violence by increasing violence is stupid. How did you feel when the US was attacked and 3000 people we killed? You wanted vengence right? You wanted to go over there and rip the heads off of every single one of the people that had anything to do with it. Imagine how the people over there feel when 100s of thousands of their friends, families and colleagues are killed by americans. Have the decency and the empathy to accept that someone has to step up and stop the violence.
