against GG (i'm pretty sure he's villain) I like flop and turn, though I would like a bigger flop 3bet, and you know he'll call it with probably any pair. turn is fine, it sets you up to make a nice river bet if you improve. on the river, i'd definitely bet at least 5500. He already thinks you bluff way too much, the board looks scary, and you did just hit a gutshot. I think he'll pay you off with almost anything that's not a missed draw.

what's your plan with this line on a J river? what about a T? what about a total blank like 4d?

J and a blank is a c/f against this guy, hes not very good at thin vbets or bluffs
T is a bet i guess? althought its pretty thin

I don't get why you'd check-fold a J? Is 8x that big a part of his range?

because hes not betting a non 8 hand and he probably isn't calling a non 8 hand
