not if you do it right. 512 people play $2500 at noon, the 256 winners from noon play 256 that bought in for $5000 at 5pm.

harrahs would make more money doing it this way.

Just put everyone in the 120-degree tent and wait until there are 256 left alive.

for a staggard field, double elimination should be the format.
