I predict Phil will tank in the Masters when there is a stronger field, but I always root against him and don't think much of his competitive heart. He has been dialed in this week though, and good for him he needs it after going winless on the West Coast and Florida swings.

I hate mickelson, he irritates me greatly

What a stupid [censored] ing sport.

"Mickleson turned back and yelled at a photographer after hitting a drive on the 18th tee during the third round.

'One of the photographers ran a sequence shot through my swing' Mickleson said. 'Since I've been a kid, I've dreamt of winning this tournament, and here I've got this chance and stuff like that happens.

A photographer shouldn't affect the outcome of an event. When it occurs, it's very upsetting. Fortunately, I hit a good shot.'"

What a bunch of pussies. Can you imagine the NBA finals and Shaq misses two free throw at the end of game 7 that would have won it and at the press conference he whines "those fans were yelling and waving stufff and it broke my concentration . . . etc."

Toro,

The pretty critical difference being that basketball players have never played under the conditions present during a PGA event, and golfers have never played under the conditions present during an NBA game.

I know. I'm off the wall on this one, but it always amuses me how in golf and tennis everyone has to walk on eggshells but in baseball 40,000 crazies are allowed to serenade Canseco with chants of "STEROIDS, STEROIDS".

I guess that's why in Golf the fans are referred to as the "gallery". Pardon me, the "gallery" has committed a faux pas. Ah, you get the point.

It wasn't the "gallery", it was some member of the press. I forget the name of the camera, but it makes a shutter sound so it takes several pictures in a row.
