Holy crap, Phil is -24 through 49 holes. He's up by 12 shots, and has more birdies than pars. He's hit 96% of his greens in regulation. The four day par 72 record is -29. This is some pretty spectacular golf.

I predict Phil will tank in the Masters when there is a stronger field, but I always root against him and don't think much of his competitive heart. He has been dialed in this week though, and good for him he needs it after going winless on the West Coast and Florida swings.
