Keep the money invested (assuming you have a decent rate on your mortgage). Finish up school and find a decent job. That roll can provide you some nice extra cash every year and if invested properly should be enough to cover your retirement. |

if you have a mill and are only looking for 50 k there's plenty of options. Tax free munis would be great considering they're TAX FREE. Rates are moving up after a few years of awful returns, you ladder the cash over bonds paying dividends in different months so you're basically getting a paycheck everymonth. (bonds pay twice a year, you get some for Jan-July, Feb-Aug etc...)
This doesn't grow your cash, just allows you to as Richard Pryor said "smoke the interest not the principle" Many fortunes are handled this way. Old money style. |
