yeah, he has the A usually.
idiot just called along with AK or some crap.
stats back it up, very loose and passive and then he shoves river.

He's certainly representing the ace here. Would he be calling your flop and turn bets with a lone ace? Possibly I guess, if he's a donkey.

I doubt he's making some crazy play with an overpair because he didn't raise preflop.

I suppose it could be a missed flush draw taking advantage of the scare card.

To be honest I think i'd fold though, because i'd feel really really dense if he did show the ace at showdown. I guess that's not a good basis to be making poker descisions on though! lol

I wondered how many people would think this also. Same situation came up awhile later with a villain that had similar stats except it was only a 12bb bet so I called it and villain had 94o middle pair.

It's really a decent bluff because they appear to be retarded enough to call down with an inside straight draw and some overs to the board.

Guess that's one to add to the notes then. Happy days if he has a habit of making bluffs like that, +1 for the buddy list.

By the way, I think your avatar looks like the muppets are gang raping a cameraman. It's going to give me nightmares.

meh, I think this is a pretty easy fold. Along with the odd Axs/broadway you probly see 66 here some too. You might have gotten him off with 3/7 on your bets but I doubt it.

I think he only has 3 hands on villain so the stats are meaningless. However I agree that OP can't call the bet. I think it's actually an easy fold.

Fold as played. I don't really like your bet sizing on the flop and turn; bet pot on both.

Bet more on the turn. As played fold river, this is a hand like A5/66 a lot, and we can throw in any number of random AsXs hands, or 6sXs.
