I'm checking behind on the flop in that situation a lot as well.

Okay I think but I would probably fold to any "real" turn bet.

Why are you back down at 25NL? Hope you aren't planning to stay long...

[/ QUOTE ]

Two sets over sets, Two overpairs cracked on turn or river, 1 3 street bluff that ran into KK, 1 overpair to villains turned set,

and I am rolled for NL25 again.

Brag: You had the good sense to move down to rebuild
Beat: Needed to
Variance: Playing in the micros

I'm sure you'll rebuild quickly...

I don't know LC. I'm -$78 (+$558 at NL25 though) the past 6 weeks. I feel like I have ran insanely bad, but that's the FGATORS excuse, so I'm gonna post more hands and see if someone can find my leaks. I'm about half drunk now, after being set overset some more at NL$25 and having my AA's win 57% of the time today.

[/ QUOTE ]

Well at least the bad run won't feel quite so painful at 25NL. Hope it doesn't last long!

I would check this flop alot of the time. I'd be weary of his bet size on the turn to, it sets up a pot sized river bet. I don't think these people are thinking to that degree but just food for thought.

Do you usually check when you miss too? I don't see how this would work into my TAG game. I CB most flops hit or miss. If I start checking flops I hit that seems like a leak. Please elaborate on your strategy with this in mind as I know you have thought it through. Also, what's your plan for the rest of the hand after you check the flop...

The only time I would generally check this flop is if I had KK. Someone mentioned earlier in the post that this looks like a PP that thinks your FOS. I think I agree. I mean your PFR runs on the AG side of TAG and you c-bet a lot. Probably TT? I think you have to call that weak turn bet, and if he had a higher Ace he sucks at river value betting. Might be AJs , people always play that weak, this kind player I doubt calls that in the blinds pf though. A set/two pair would have bet the river.

I'll check behind on the flop about 1 in 3 times with TPWK here. His minraise, weak turn lead, and check on river looks like a poor bluff that he gave up on. I don't mind it too much.
