Serious: A Mod Needs To Delete Certain Posts

Apparently the BBV mods are offline atm.

made a series of posts in the BBV Absolute Poker threads that included apparently serious death threats.

Clearly, they need to be removed ASAP. While I understand that mods are not normally able to moderate outside of their forums, this seems to be a special circumstance given the very high traffic levels in those threads at the moment.

Sorry if it's not correct procedure - but I used Notify Moderator on this post Josem. Obv not iro your post, but the content of it so it can be dealt with asap.

Alright, I banned him for one day. Im not supposed to ban him outside forum but it seems to be a reasonable exception and apparently no other mods are really online. I pretty much just banned him until a BBV mod wakes up and makes a decision.

I just unbanned him. Ill keep an eye on him for the next 30 mins before I have to leave but I realized it wasnt a ban out of forum case. He asked his posts to be deleted in the thread so I think thats the end of it. He made a stupid joke and realized. Considering I have no power to edit out his text and he seems to have stopped making ridiculously stupid posts a ban now wont be any different than waiting for gild to wake up and give him a real ban.

odds are that anything that happens between midnight and 9am on a weeknight i am not going to find. You guys have to notify mod and we'll get to it in the morning.

Very understandable. Adanthar mentioned that some major media outlets are keeping close tabs on the BBV threads so perhaps you guys should keep a closer eye on the pertinent threads for the time being.
